Day 362: This is Miami Beach

Plenty of sun and fine white sand, colorful Art Deco architecture, and notorious Spring break parties are just a few of the reasons why Miami Beach is an international tourist destination.  Located on a long barrier island that’s sandwiched between Biscayne Bay and the ocean, the municipality is generally divided into three districts with South Beach being the most popular by far.  With a rich history as a trend-setting center for arts, culture and nightlife, the hot spot comes alive with crowds ready to go out and have some fun.  Attracting the rich and famous along with high society wannabes, we found several spots that were great to just sit and do some people watching.

Sol, areia branca, fofinha e praia para dar e vender, assim é Miami Beach. Famosa por suas festas, baladas, restaurantes, shoppings, não é à toa que é destino internacionamente conhecido. Ao sul da Flórida, a cidade mais visitada por turístas além de ter muita história e cultura é home sweet home de muitos ricos e famosos. E ao mesmo tempo, a parte mais latina de todo país. Cubanos, mexicanos e venezuelanos e vários outros, é o que mais tem por aqui. O espanhol é praticamente a primeira língua. Não que fazemos isso, mas falar mal em português também, nem pensar, porque a comunidade brasileira não fica para trás. E como em todos os lugares que vamos, sempre sentamos e vemos a banda passar. É engraçado observar as pessoas, as coisas, os lugares com suas distintas formas de ser.
