Day 305: What is that?

After crossing into Honduras, it didn’t take long for us to take note of something peculiar attached to the electrical lines in our new surroundings.  We’re used to seeing shoes or kites or even trash up there, but what appeared to be some sort of plant growing from the cables above caught our attention.  We aren’t sure exactly what it is or why it’s there and the locals haven’t been able to explain it either which adds to our fascination.  One of those things that’s most likely too ordinary to them, they’ve seemed just as puzzled with the strange visitors staring up at what appears to be nothing special.

Depois de cruzar a fronteira não demorou muito para notarmos algumas diferenças na cidade e nos familiarizarmos um pouco com as ruas de Honduras. O que é isso nos cabos de eletricidade? Essa é a pergunta que continuamos a fazer… alguma idéia??? Ao invés de sapatos, linha de pipa, sujeira, esse negócio pendurado nos parece ser grama. Mas como a grama cresce nos fios elétricos, essa é uma pergunta melhor ainda.  E nem tem muitas árvores para ter a desculpa que as folhas enroscaram na caída… Nosso amigo google não tem a nenhuma informação, muito menos os locais que provavelmente nunca notaram como é interessante.
